Mary Ann Richards

Mary Ann Richards, 85, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021 in Weatherford. A local memorial visitation will be held from 3 until 4, on Saturday, September 11, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. A memorial service celebrating her life will follow at 4 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home. Her burial will be private at a later date.

Mary was born on March 9, 1936, in Wheeler, Texas to Kenneth and Eunice Richards. She married Burl Veso Richards and together had one son, Alton. Mary will affectionately be remembered for being a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was kind and was always thinking of others.

Mary is survived by her son, Alton said his wife, Leslie Richards; by her grandchildren, Christy Bonfilio, Jonathan Richards, Jeremy Richards, Jason Mc Kinzie and Jesse McKinzie; and by 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Richards on October 22, 1998; by her sister, Melva; and by her brothers, Willie, Jackie, and Sid.
