Marvin Wesley Browder, Jr., age 75, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the Weatherford hospital. Marvin was born May 23, 1938, the first born son to Marvin Wesley Browder Sr. and Kathleen Bessie (Kitty) Browder. He was a graduate of Carter Riverside High School in 1956, and was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin in 1961.  Marvin was a member of LAMBDA CHI ALPHA frat at UT.  He moved to Weatherford in 1963 to start his own business, Marvin Browder Jr. Oil Company. Marvin was a very successful businessman and cattleman. He was a member of North Side Baptist Church, an avid sports fan, supporter of Parker County Livestock Improvement Association and many others. Mr. Browder is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin W Browder Sr. and Kathleen Bessie Leachman Browder and daughter, Sherri Linn Browder, his mother and father in law, Charles Edward Dimock and Mary Alberta Hostetter Dimock.
Mr. Browder is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Dimock Browder, daughter, Deborah Ann Browder, granddaughters, Stephanie Nicole Edwards and Mary Kathleen Riddle, brother, Kenneth Wayne Browder and wife, Wanda, brother in law, Gene Edward Dimock and wife Julie, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his faithful Dog, Duchess.

Funeral: 1pm Saturday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Memory Gardens. Visitation 6-8 pm Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
