Martha Louise Watson

  Martha Louise Watson, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011. She was a long time resident of Weatherford, the former principal at North Side Consolidated School, a retired teacher from Weatherford Independent School District, a member of the Parker County Retired Teachers Association and a member of First United Methodist Church of Weatherford. Louise loved gardening, cooking, and sewing. She was a devoted mother and loved her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Garvice Watson, whom she was married to for 52 years.

  Survivors: daughters, Anna White and husband, Bob of Williamsburg, Virginia and Nancy Boyd and husband, Lindy of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan and Ashley Boyd and Scott and Staci MacLeod; two sisters and two brothers.

  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Poe Prairie Cemetery.
