Mark Allen Peters, 41 of Weatherford, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Mark was born August 8, 1966 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. A former resident of Springtown, Mark worked for Don’s Lawn Mower as a repair technician, he was a former gutter installer, a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Springtown and a woodworker. He is survived by his wife – Betty Peters of Weatherford, son – Derrick Peters, Parents – Charlotte Peters and Ray and Pati Peters. Grandmother – Isa Peters, Step daughter – Cindy Melton and grandchildren Erin, Megan and J.T. Step son – Kevin Kirby and children Diamond and Christopher, grandchildren, Tara, Timmy and Tesh. Sisters – Jami, Starr, Dezi, Angel, Ann Marie, Kayla and Clare. Brothers – Brian and Oscar, seven grandchildren. Uncle, nephew, and much other family in West Virginia.Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 in the City Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation with the Peters family from Springtown will be 6-8 PM Friday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
