Marjorie Kidwell Babb

Marjorie Kidwell Babb, 86, our beloved mother and grandmother, left this earth to serve the Lord on May 21, 2008 with her family by her side.  Marjorie was born in Millsap, Texas on December 9, 1921 to Robert and Cary Kidwell and was a lifelong resident of Parker County. Margie married the love of her life J.B. Babb on June 10, 1939 and they were married for 65 years. She was a farmer, homemaker and award-winning cook, as well as a devoted loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother in law and the worlds best Grandma. Margie was proud to call her daughter in law, Wilma, her chosen daughter. The family wishes to thank the CNA and Nursing staff at Holland Lake Nursing Center for the special love and care they gave Margie.
Margie is survived by her son, Douglas Babb and wife Wilma of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Debbie Babb Stevenson and husband Jim of Fort Worth; daughter, Carol Ann Whiteside; four grandsons and five great grandchildren and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
Service: 2 PM, Saturday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
