Marion Horace Langford, Jr. of Weatherford went to Heaven to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
Funeral service: 10a.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at Greenwood Baptist Church with interment to follow in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Horace was born June 11, 1932 in Mertens, Texas to Marion Horace Langford, Sr. and Mary Lucille Goodman Langford. He was a retired route driver for Texas Butane and a faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Horace enjoyed fishing, woodworking reading his Bible and spending time with his family and church family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Alma and his son, Willy Langford. Survivors include his children, Judy Flanagin and husband Jay, Marion Marrs, both of Weatherford, Horace Langford, III and wife Kristy of Ponder; daughter in law, Marnita Stinnett and husband Ronnie also of Weatherford; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
