Marian Nell Coburn

Millsap/Weatherford - Marian Nell Coburn, 82, born on February 8, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior June 23, 2023. Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Marian loved the Lord and loved her family. Marian was lovingly known as “Granny” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and as “Aunt Nellie” to her nieces and nephews.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Donna Messimer and husband Mike, Vicki Craig and husband Rickey, Cindy Clary, and Anita Martin and partner Marion Smith; step-daughter, Dori Coburn Moody; and sons, Randall Coburn II and wife Tonya, and Rusty Martin. Marian also has 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Coburn Blue; mother, Juanita Martin; father, James A. Nichols; grandson, Mark Messimer; son-in-law, Terry Clary; husbands, Lee Sweet Jr., Randall “Randy” Coburn, and Elbert “Wayne” Martin; four brothers, Donnie Nichols, Ronnie Nichols, James L. Nichols, and Michael “Spanky” Nichols; grandmother, Frances N. Hall (Mama Dude); grandfather, Rufus Hall (Daddy Dude); and her favorite cousin, Joe James Whitehead.

Celebration of Life gathering for Marian will be on July 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the Millsap Community Center in Millsap, Texas. Burial will be in the Millsap Cemetery.
