Maria S. Hernandez

Maria Santos Hernandez, 50, of Arlington, formerly of Weatherford, passed away early on Thursday, September 17, 2020, in Arlington, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8, Monday evening, September 21, at the Church of the Apostles, 1621 Balleywood, in Irving, Texas. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 12, at the church. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Maria was born November 1, 1969, in El Salvador, to Antonio Gonzalez and Simona Hernandez. She had three sons, Mario, Salvador, and Julio Hernandez. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. Maria will be remembered as being a hard worker who was always willing to help anyone in need. Most of all, Maria will be remembered for being devoted to her Christian faith and to her love for her family.

Maria is survived by her sons, Mario, Salvador, and Julio; and by her grandson, Angel Hernandez.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents.
