Marcelle Griffin Cashion

Marcelle Griffin Cashion, 95, passed away on August 4, 2008 in Weatherford, Texas.   Marcelle was born on October 2, 1912 in Concord, Texas. She married Dave Cashion on May 4, 1931 and moved to Fort Worth where she was employed for thirty years as a buyer and later as Personnel Interviewer with Montgomery Ward and Company.  She was a fifty year member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church and later a t First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Marcelle was devoted to God and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; son, Tommy, parents, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ned Hannah of Weatherford; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Gayle Cashion of Whitehouse, Texas; five grandchildren, Leigh Anne and husband Wayne Jones, Shelly and husband Greg Schwartz, Chris Hannah and wife Lana, Steven Cashion and wife Lindsey, Robin and husband Oscar Gonzales and eleven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 A.M., Thursday in Laurel Land Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
