Mamie Range

Mamie Velma Range, age 87, formerly of Midland, Texas and Higgins, Texas, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 in Willow Park, Texas. Mamie was born June 24, 1933 in Royston, TX to William Truman Henley Sr. and Syble Pugh Henley.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt who enjoyed crocheting, quilting and sewing. She helped in the family roofing business and was a retired waitress and housekeeper.

Mamie is survived by her daughter, Diana McElvy of Aledo, TX; granddaughters, Desta Sherrod and Debra Zerr, and grandson, Blake McElvy; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Maggie, Gabe and Caylie; great-great-grandchild, Raelyn, as well as multiple special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Boyce Gregg Strickland in 1965.
