Mae Lorraine Rothrock

Mae Lorraine Rothrock of Weatherford passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. Graveside service: 10:30 am, Friday, April 5, 2019 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Thursday in the family room of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Mae was born in Eva, Oklahoma and passed away in Weatherford, TX after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

She grew up in Highfill, Arkansas and graduated from Gentry, AR High School. She married Staff Sgt. Roy Rothrock and raised their three children in Southlake, TX before retiring to Boyd, TX.

Mae was an avid member and officer of the Weatherford Honey-Do Sams as well as a dedicated member and officer of the Parker County Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Roy Rothrock, two grandsons, a great grandson as well as her dear sister, Lavada Ford.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Rothrock of Weatherford, Tx; sons Jerry Rothrock and Pam Oliver of Moscow Mills, MO: and Steve and Grace Rothrock of Weatherford, TX. as well as six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ray & Billie McCoy of Logan, NM. as well several brothers & sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
