Lyle Lamont Vanderpool

Lyle Lamont Vanderpool, Sr., 84, of Fort Worth passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his residence. Lyle was born May 10, 1933 in North Rome, PA to Lamont and Catherine Wells Vanderpool. He was a great person that loved to make people laugh, and was commonly referred to as a “Jack of all Trades”. Lyle was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Terry Wayne Vanderpool and 8 siblings. Lyle is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Christine; children, Lyle Vanderpool, Jr., Vicki Elkins and husband John all of Fort Worth, Pamela Bennett of Greenwood, MO and Andrea Bennett and husband Roy of Belton, MO; four sisters all of PA; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral service: 11 a.m, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m, at DFW National Cemetery.
