Luis Martinez, Jr.

  Luis Martinez, Jr., 20, of Weatherford, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 10, 2008, in Weatherford. Born June 24, 1987, in Fort Worth, he was a lifelong resident of Parker County.  Luis was a loving son, uncle, brother and friend to many. 

  He was an employee for Burger King and was a Christian. He enjoyed playing football and basketball, loved his family, was a friend to all and tried to see the good in everyone. Luis was a good guy that smiled all the time and was the comic relief of the crowd. 

  He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Karen Adkins of Weatherford; sisters, Wendy Bailey of Joshua, Kristin Conway of Weatherford, Alicia Cruz and husband, Adrian of Weatherford, Kayliegh Adkins of Weatherford, and Christiana Adkins of Weatherford; brothers, Jeremy Adkins and wife, Jayline of Weatherford and Coy Adkins of Oklahoma; great-aunt, Sue Virdell and husband, Don of Weatherford; aunts, Sylvia Roden and husband, James of Weatherford, and Beverly Watson and husband, Hugh of Weatherford; uncle, Skip Cox and wife, Patricia of Millsap, Bobby Adkins and wife, Lucille of Weatherford, and James Wright of Weatherford; cousins, Lynn Sibley and husband, Ted of Houston and Lisa Peters of Weatherford; close friends, Jesse Beltran of Weatherford, Keoni Wood of Weatherford, Lucas Lewis of Weatherford, Baiza Family of Weatherford, and the Wood Family of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

  Memorial service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2008, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Zane Mitchell officiating.
