Lucy Elizabeth Britton

Lucy Elizabeth Britton, 93, of Weatherford, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Weatherford Hospital. Lucy was born April 26, 1916 in Covington, Texas. She was a retired beautician, a member of Couts United Methodist Church, loved gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with family. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Britton and grandson, Scott Vaughn.
 
Survivors: Daughter; Cynthia Vaughan of Weatherford, son; Michael Britton of Richardson, granddaughters; Veronica Vaughan of Haltom City and Michelle Clawson of Plano, five great grandchildren
 
Graveside service: 11:00 am Monday, January 25, 2010 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
