Lois Wood, 88, died April 11, 2010 in a local nursing home. She was born on February 3, 1922, in Anderson County, Texas, to Willie R. and Ethel Brown Holt. She was a retired LVN and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Weatherford.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Donna Wood of Weatherford; sisters, Mary Rae Thomas of Conroe and Julia Mae Duncan of Weatherford; grandchildren, Cody Wood, Crystal Benedict, and Jennifer Brucker; great-grandchildren, Quentin Brucker and Jaron Brucker; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
