Lisa Musgrave Lamb

May 15, 1956 — November 18, 2014

Lisa Anne Musgrave Lamb

Our Dear Lisa Anne Musgrave Lamb, age 58, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday November 18, 2014.  Lisa had an infectious love for life, and always had a smile and something nice to say to everybody she saw.  Her positive attitude brightened the world around her, and she was always up for new adventures and time with her family.  She was a beautiful, happy, “hippie chick” and true cat lover, and she is joining many of her beloved kitties waiting for her beside the Rainbow Bridge.
Lisa had many troubles and struggles in her life, and now she is at peace and free from pain, and smiling over her daughters and grandchildren as she always has in life.
Lisa was born in 1956 and shortly thereafter adopted by Evelyn West Musgrave and Clarence (Fred) Musgrave.  She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1974, where she was in the National Honor Society, French Club, played on the volleyball team and was a member of the Blue Belles, and still could speak a little of the French she learned there.  She was well-read, and loved to read to her daughters and grandchildren often.
After attending Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas for a time, she met and married Charles Edward MacLeod and they had two daughters, Laura Heather MacLeod and Morgan Michelle MacLeod, both of Weatherford, Texas.
Later in life, Lisa fell in love with and married Rick Lamb of Weatherford, where they resided for the remainder of her life.
Lisa loved nature, flowers and pretty jewelry and tie dye, cats and music and funny stories.  Even when she had nothing for herself she would find a tiny gift to lovingly give her children and grandchildren whenever she saw them.  She made every holiday magical with glitter and pretty lights and stories for the children.  Her positive energy will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by her husband Rick Lamb of Weatherford, mother Evelyn Musgrave of Lubbock, Texas; daughters Laura MacLeod and Morgan MacLeod of Weatherford; grandchildren Logan Gee of Arlington, Acadia (Evie) Rice of Weatherford and Tripp Spelce of Aledo. Also Brothers-in Law James Douglas Lamb of Weatherford and Roger Wayne Lamb of Irving, and Aunt and Uncle Fern and Russ Arendell of Lubbock.

There will be a memorial service at a time and place to be determined.
