Linda Sue Michou

Linda Sue Michou, 57, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19. Linda was born and raised in Brock, TX by her two loving parents Louie and Betty Michou, along with her brother Ray Michou.

She was educated at Brock Schools and made many memories with long-time family friends and classmates. Linda worked at First Financial Bank for over twenty years. She served in several capacities at the bank, working her way up to Executive Administrative Assistant. Linda grew close to many of her colleagues and customers over the years.

She was a devoted mother and demonstrated sacrificial love to her children, Justin and Lauren. It was very important to her to instill biblical truths into their lives and to live for Christ. Linda valued family time which typically involved playing games, poking fun and lots of laughs. She was fond of traveling across Texas and the East Coast to visit Lauren. She took joy in arts and crafts and made beautiful gifts for the family. It was common to hear people say, “Linda was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.” She was inviting, genuine and loved others well.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Michou.

She is survived by her father, Louie Michou; her brother and wife, Ray & Nancy Michou; her daughter, Lauren Cartwright; her son and wife, Justin & Melanie Cartwright; her nephew, Ryan Michou and niece, Rhiana Michou; and many beloved family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Dennis First Baptist Church (7600 FM1189, Lipan, TX 76462) at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021.
