Linda Lou Hull

November 14, 1947 — August 2, 2022

Our beloved mother and granny, Linda Lou Hull, went from the tender embrace of our family into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on August 2, 2022. We know God is pleased to have another of His angels back home again.

Delivered in an elevator at the Crazy Water Hotel in Mineral Wells Texas to her parents, Lloyd Knox and Bessie Lou Smith Whitehead on November 14, 1947. Linda has always did things her way. She excelled in everything she did; including,
obtaining a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University. She retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2012 as a parole officer.

Linda had a strength about her yet remained gracious, kind, and considerate to everyone she knew. Immersing herself in God’s word, her faith was the most important thing in her life. Next came her family. Linda was blessed with a loving family.
The oldest of six siblings, Linda lead a life that was richly blessed. The whole family will cherish the memories of her love which was deeply rooted in Christ’s Wondrous Love. Anyone who was sick or needed prayer knew who to call. Linda would pray for anyone in need, she inspired so many people.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon Ashley (Ronnie) of Millsap, Patty Gonzales (Hector) of Mineral Wells, granddaughters, Lainea Ashley (Noel), Courtney Ashley; great grandchildren, Karlie Ashley, Caul Gandee, Kinslee Plowman, and Harper Lowry; sister, Judy Whitehead; and brothers, Toni Whitehead, and Karl Durham.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Lloyd Knox and Bessie Lou Smith Whitehead; brothers, Eddie Whitehead, Danny Whitehead, and Mickey Whitehead.

Following Linda’s wishes, the family will have a private service at a later date.

Our family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Medical City Fort Worth, Weatherford Regional Medical Center, College Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Alpha Omega Hospice for the care they bestowed to our mother/grandmother.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
