Linda Jo Mainord, age 72, of Weatherford, died early Tuesday morning, April 29, 2014 in a local nursing facility. She was born November 20, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas. Linda was a homemaker, truck driver and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Fay Slocum, husband, Jim Mainord, sister, Belva Jean Slocum and brother, Floyd Slocum.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda Morris, three grandchildren, sister, Shirley Slocum Collins, brothers, Leon Slocum, Jerry Slocum, numerous nieces and nephews.
