Leroy Schoonover

Leroy Schoonover, age 81, of Weatherford, died Tuesday afternoon, August 6, 2013 in the local hospital.  Born April 23, 1932 in Crystal City, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years.  He was retired owner of Leroy’s Plumbing, member of the Baptist Church and the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse.  Leroy was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and he loved fishing, R’Ving, horses and tinkering with his hands.

Brothers – Charles Schoonover and wife, Katie of Midlothian
                  Jerry Schoonover and wife, Sharon of Hico

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday,
August 10, 2013, in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in
Oakland Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, August 9,
2013 at the funeral home.
