Leola Edna Lawrence

Leola Edna Lawrence, 98, of Weatherford passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, April 17, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1919, in Palo Pinto County to James Edward Lawrence and Lee Bell Forson Lawrence. She had one sister, Alma Faye Lawrence. Leola and her sister were both baptized July 18, 1956, at First Christian Church, Ranger, Texas. They moved their membership to Central Christian Church in Weatherford on May 31, 1970. Leola and Faye were both retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where they were both telephone operators. They were transferred to Weatherford and built their house in 1960. 

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Blue Flat Cemetery in Gordon. A visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
