Leo Lucas Loiacano

January 6, 1920 — February 1, 2015

Leo Lucas Loiacano, 95, of Weatherford , passed away on Sunday February 1, 2015.  He was born and raised in Orange, TX.  Leo was a distinguished World War II veteran.  He was a machinist, inventor, entrepreneur and retired educator from Fort Worth Public School System.  Leo is survived by daughters Patricia Melson, Judy Myers and husband Ray Myers; son James Loiacano and wife Shawn Loiacano, eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marino and Anna Loiacano and six siblings of Orange Texas; daughter Linda Bumgardner and granddaughter Marianne Melson.  The family thanks Doctor Welch and the staff of Holland Lake Nursing Center for their excellent care.


Visitation will be on Friday 2/6/2015 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Memorial Service held on Saturday 2/7/2015 at 10:00 AM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
