Laverne Keller Horton

LaVerne Keller Horton, age 81, of Weatherford, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at her residence. LaVerne was a born January 29, 1930 in Lamb County. She married Vernon R. Horton on July 29, 1950. LaVerne was long time resident of Parker County, a resident of the Spring Creek Community since August of 1959. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Winnie and Stratton Keller, husband Vernon Horton and three brothers.

Survivors: Son; Charlie Horton of Weatherford, daughter, Joanne Richardson and husband Derek of Van Buren, AR, sisters; Marie Thomas of Amarillo and Evelyn Jackson of Mineral Wells, five grandchildren; Darrell and Russell Childers, Jeff Horton, Emily Johnson and Leanne Harris, ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 10:00 am Saturday, August 6, 2011 in the Spring Creek Baptist Church. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery.
