Larry Duanne Shields

Larry Duanne Shields, 68, of Weatherford died Sunday April 1, 2007 in the local hospital. Born December 17, 1938 in Cooper, Texas he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Larry retired from Lockheed after 32 years, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a Parker County volunteer fireman for 18 years and he enjoyed working Word Finds puzzles.  Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Shields of Weatherford; sons, David Shields and fiancé Suletta of Weatherford; step son, James McDevitt of Weatherford; uncle, T.J. Shields of Garland; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Cris Powell officiating. Interment will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
