Kenneth Dale Lea

Kenneth Dale Lea, Sr., 73, of Weatherford, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born September 9, 1936 in Gainesville, Texas to Murry and Lena Pearl Lea. Kenneth attended Calvary Baptist Church in Weatherford. He was a truck driver for over 50 years, lived life to the fullest. Kenneth put forth his full effort in what ever he did whether it was fishing, bowling or doing the yard work.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mavis Lea of Weatherford; daughters, Cristy Hale and husband Mike of Azle and Paula Dean and husband Mike of Jayton; sons, Glen E. Lea of Tahlequah, Ok, Kenneth Dale Lea, Jr. and wife Sherry of San Antonio, Bobby Wayne Lea and wife Debra of Lubbock and Bobby Lee Lea of Weatherford; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service: 2 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements.
