Kathleen Christopher Thompson, 74, of Weatherford passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2009 at her residence. Born January 8, 1935 in Lamesa, Texas she was a Certified Nurse’s Aide and a homemaker. Kathleen was a member of the Baptist Church. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Known as “Aunt Mommy” to her nieces and nephews; Kathleen was the favorite aunt of her family. She had friends all over the world that she kept in touch with via her prayer chain.  Kathleen was the most loving and thoughtful person to her family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all that ever met her. She was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Gene Seely, parents, and her sisters, Augusta Spencer, Wahnene McGill and Jo Ann Christopher. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Thompson of Weatherford; daughters, Debara Craft of Weatherford, Patricia Eckersley and husband Don of Fort Worth and Peggy Garrett and husband Tom of Weatherford; sons, Larry Dale Slawson of Weatherford, Christopher H. Slawson and wife Deana of Mineral Wells and Brian Thompson and wife Heidi of Canada; sisters, Twin sister, Ethyleen Bogues and husband Ralph of Weatherford and Helen Synner and husband Charles of Alaska; brother, William G. Christopher and wife Daisy of Rogers, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 
Funeral service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 10, 2009 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Zion Hill Cemetery.

Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
