Kathleen ‘Big Mama’ Eichenberger, 71, of Weatherford, passed away early Saturday morning, February 24, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2 P.M., on Wednesday, February 28, at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main Street, in Weatherford. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street in Weatherford and additionally from 1 P.M. until the time of the service, Wednesday at the church. Burial will immediate follow the service.
Kathleen was born June 3, 1946 in Trenton, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Alice Samay. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Fort Worth. She loved all animals – particularly her dogs and cats. Kathleen enjoyed cooking, reading, and collecting toy dolls. Kathleen will affectionately be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always made her home a welcome place.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Debbie and husband Troy Sokolowksi and Pam and husband Eric Bauer; grandchildren, Hayden, Courtney, Connor, Brooke, Khristian and Konstance; great-grandson, Dallas; step-children, Keith and wife Vicki Eichenberger, Renee Eichenberger, and Kevin and wife Shiela Eichenberger; step-grandchildren, Gina, Jonathan, Sierra, Dalton, and Kyla and by her brother, Richard Samay and his children, Laurie, Ricky, Robbie and Jean.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents.
