Karen Bethany Hannah

June 28, 1942 — August 27, 2017

Karen Cashion Hannah, 75, of Willow Park, beloved wife, mother, Granna, sister and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 27, following a courageous fight against brain cancer. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 2 P.M. at First Baptist Church Willow Park.
Karen was born on June 28, 1942 in Fort Worth to Dave and Marcelle Cashion. She attended Daggett Elementary and Junior High, and graduated from Paschal High in Fort Worth. Karen worked at Fort Worth ISD prior to working for 24 years at Weatherford ISD, working at Bowie Elementary and Weatherford High. She devoted most of her time to her family, spending time together and attending all of their many activities and sports events. Karen enjoyed many close friendships made through the Fire Department, camping, square dancing, card groups, work and church, and lifelong friendships from her elementary through high school years. A devout Christian with a strong faith, Karen was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Willow Park.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Cashion.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ned Hannah; her children, Leigh Anne (Wayne) Jones, Shelly (Greg) Schwartz, and Chris (Lana) Hannah; grandchildren, Brittany (Charlie) Aceto, Tripp, Cash, Hannah, Sarah, Micah, Kyle and Lanie; her brother, Terry (Gayle) Cashion; and by many extended family and close friends.
