Julie Dieb Doyle

October 8, 1952 — July 7, 2009

Julie Doyle passed away on July 7, 2009. She was loved and appreciated here on Earth for 56 years. She fought cancer valiantly for four years, and her courage and faith were an inspiration to all who knew her.   Memorials: Contributions in Julie’s honor are suggested to the American Cancer Society.   Julie was born in Fort Worth on October 8, 1952. She attended Fort Worth public schools, graduating from Southwest High School in 1970. Her first love was art, and she pursued that interest at the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 1974, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, art being her major.   Her public career included the Museum of Modern Art, St. Joseph Hospital, Neiman Marcus and Concreation, Inc. These pursuits were put aside for dedication to raising a family, painting, dance and yoga. She was a true lover of all beauty and this was reflected in all facets of her life. Julie loved plants, flowers and all things of nature. And she had to have her pets -- dogs, cats and birds throughout the years.   To know Julie was to love Julie. She had a delightful personality and a great sense of humor that attracted and held many friends from all walks of life. They were loyal and attentive to her, especially during her illness. And the love and care shown by her husband and daughters during these trying times was inspiring. You wanted to be in Julie’s company because she just made you feel good. To her friends and family she was true, always there and ready to offer a sympathetic ear and helping hand. Dear precious Julie, you will be missed, you will be remembered.   The family would like to express their deep appreciation to all the doctors, nurses and friends who attended Julie so lovingly. And thanks to Vitas Hospice for the professional and efficient caregiving. It was wonderful.   Survivors: Husband, Mark Doyle of Aledo; daughters, Emily Blackman and her husband Jay of Houston, Callie Doyle and Devon Doyle of Aledo; granddaughter, Audrey Blackman; parents, John and Betty Dieb of Fort Worth; sisters, Karla Cross and her husband Rick and Deborah Dieb of Fort Worth; and other friends and relatives.
