Juanita Kay Monroe

Juanita Kay Monroe, 83, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Juanita was born August 3, 1939, in La Prairie, Illinois to Maynard Decker Harden and Nora Alene (DeJaynes) Harden. Juanita was the retired manager of the Petro Travel Center in Weatherford, Texas, often bringing a friendly smile and good customer service to the many patrons that passed through Weatherford and to the local community. She was a proud mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Juanita was known as an enthusiastic Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys fan. Her lively spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sexton and husband, Steve of Weatherford, Texas; son, Randall Monroe of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Jeffrey Monroe and wife, Gena of College Station, Texas; son, James Monroe of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Dwight Harden of Camp Point, Illinois; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a private Celebration of Life service.
