Juan Padilla Requena

Juan Padilla Requena passed away at home on Sunday January 15, 2023, at the age of 24 years. Juan was born October 29, 1998, to Juan Padilla and Marina Requena in Tula Tamaulipas, Mexico. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 2017. Juan met the love of his life, Jessica, while working together. They married August 2017; they have three beautiful children together whom he adored: Allison age 7, Benicio age 5, and Marina age 3. Juan was employed with Discount Tire for over 5 years; Juan considered his brothers at Discount Tire to be an extension of his family.

Juan is survived by his wife, Jessica and three children, Allison, Benicio, and Marina of Weatherford, Texas; mother, Marina Requena of Weatherford; father, Juan Padilla of Weatherford; brothers, Yahir Padilla and Josue Padilla of Weatherford; grandmother, Hipo'lita Medrano Escalante of Mante Tamaulipas, Mexico; mother-in-law and husband, Lorie and Ray Shannon of Weatherford; father-in-law, Joseph Kratzke of Hudson Oaks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julie and Justin Garcia of Mesquite, Joey Kratzke of Arlington, Jade Kratzke of Hudson Oaks, Courtney and Christopher Hupp of Weatherford, Cheyenne and Kelly Workman of Chico, Jeffrey and CJ Mears of Paradise, Matt and Jessica Mears of Weatherford; and several nieces and nephews.

Juan touched the lives of everyone he knew. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Following the service, a procession will make its way to East Greenwood Cemetery for a committal service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the funeral chapel.
