Joyce K. Risenhoover

Joyce Golden Kight Risenhoover,91, moved to Heaven and rejoined a host of family on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

Joyce was a wonderful daughter, mother and friend to many. She gave her heart to Jesus early in life and raised her children love Him too. She fought the fight, finished her course and kept the faith and now will claim her crown of righteousness from the Lord because she was looking with love toward His appearing. He came to her on Sunday, March 15. O Glorious Day!

Joyce is preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Roy Kight; her second husband, Jim Risenhoover; her daughter, Kathy Lee Kight; her brother, Gene Golden; and by her parents, Tom and Lois Golden.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Brenda and husband Dr. David George and Debra and husband, Jere Gunstanson; and by her grandchildren, Tessa McCook, Aaron George, Krystal Miller, Kara Voyles, and Ryan Kight; and by 10 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date at First Baptist Church, 222 W. Church St., in Weatherford.
