John William Weese

November 14, 1927 — December 9, 2016

John William Weese age 89, of Fort Worth passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at a local nursing facility. He was born in Van Buren, Arkansas to John and Bessie Joslin Weese. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran and a devoted member of the Willow Park Church of Christ. John was blessed with a green thumb. He worked as a landscaper and thoroughly enjoyed planting fruit trees in his backyard and working in his garden. Later in life he learned masonry and general construction including how to draw up blueprints. This allowed him to build many of the houses he drew. John enjoyed reading, watching movies and taking scenic photos in his free time.
John is survived by his Daughters Connie Gillock and husband Leon; Debbie Buczynski and husband Henry; Kristina (Tina) Latimer and husband Doug; Son John Kerry Weese and wife Gina; Sisters Esther and Naomi; Brother David; Granddaughters Crystal, Kimberly, Charity, Amber and ten Great-Grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his wife Ethel Weese; his parents and Great-Grandson Russell Douglas McCloud.
Graveside Service 11:00am Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Minister Robert Heil will officiate. Visitation 5-7pm Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
