John Peter Plocar

John Peter Plocar, 50, of Weatherford, passed away June 29, 2015 in Fort Worth surrounded by his family after his battle with leukemia. John was born September 30, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Betty Jane Plocar.   In 1991, he married Jill Smerz.  John was a manager of 1187 Self Storage in Crowley, TX.  He loved his many years working as a mechanic and longed to rebuild a classic Mustang.  John could “fix anything mechanical” and was called on by many for repairs.   He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. John is survived by his daughter, Natalie (Dan) Vasquez of Naperville, IL; his wife, Jill and their children, John Peter, Jr., Kayla Nicole, and Danielle Elizabeth Plocar all of Weatherford; two grandchildren, Nicole and Adrianna Vasquez; by his brother, Robert (Sandra) Plocar of Glendale Heights, IL; and by his cousin and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents and by his oldest brother, Joe; his grandparents and uncle.    

Burial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Annetta Cemetery.
