John Jackson Wright, Jr.

John Jackson Wright, Jr. age 88, of Weatherford, died Saturday evening December 24, 2011 in the local hospital.  Born April 29, 1923 in Vera, Texas a resident of Weatherford for many years.  He was a retired Division Manager for AMOCO Pipeline and member of the South Main Church of Christ.  John was a Veteran of the U. S. Army Air Force where he served as a navigator on a B-29 during World War II.  Survivors: Wife of 69 years, Kathleen Wright of Weatherford, sons, Stan Wright and wife, Toni of Brownwood, Tom Wright and wife, Rebecca of Roanoke, Three Grandchildren, Randy Wright, Jenny Moore, Jim Wright, Three Step Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, Brother, Grady Wright and wife, ,Bobbi of Weatherford . Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 in the South Main Church of Christ with interment in the East Greenwood Cemetery.
