John Herbert Mize

John Herbert Mize,59, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at VA North Texas Health Care System. John was born June 24, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Tommy and Dana Bodine Mize. He was a US Marine Corp veteran that served as a tank commander during Desert Storm. John was a long time member of North Main Church of Christ. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Charles Mize. 

John is survived by his children, Shawn Mize, Natasha Hanisko and Kirsten Mize; mother, Dana Marie Mize; brother, Terry Mize; as well as his grandchildren, Sophia Halbert, Casey Mize, Ruby Mize and Lylah Hanisko.

A graveside service will be at 2pm, Friday, January 8, 2021 in Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford.
