John David Malone

John David Malone, 94, passed from this life on Monday, May 15, 2023. He was born March 11, 1929, in Harlingen, Texas to Jeff Malone and Annie (Dubose) Malone. John proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he took pride in his career as a foreman in the farming industry. John met and married the love of his life, Dorothy Salyers, and they were blessed with two sons. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all.

John was preceded in death by his son, Danny Malone, and grandson, Rusty Malone.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Malone; son, Leland Davis Malone and his wife, Karin; granddaughter, Le Ann Malone (David Dennett); grandson, Shane Malone; and great grandchildren, Eagan Dennett, and Lane and Brooke Malone.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2022, at Greenwood Community Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas, officiated by Paul Clark.
