Jimmy Joe Stevens

Jimmy Joe Stevens, passed away at age 78, Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Jimmy was born December 17, 1943, in Griffin, IN to Joseph Howard Stevens and Minnie Ozella Warren. He took pride in his occupation; he could perform any carpentry task with his advanced skills as a master carpenter. Jimmy adored his family; he was a loving, devoted husband and father to his wife and three wonderful children. Jimmy was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where he loved to worship the Lord.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Frankie Sue Holt and Howard Wayne “Butch” Stevens.

Jimmy is survived by his loyal wife, Sandra Kaye Stevens of Weatherford, TX, daughter, Jami Winterroth of Weatherford, TX, son, James Stevens of Weatherford, TX, son, Michael Stevens of North Las Vegas, NV, brother, Kenneth Stevens of Shulter, OK, sister, Freda Kay Pollock of Pelham, GA, sister, Kathy Bales of Okmulgee, OK, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Bethel United Methodist Church in Weatherford, TX.
