Jimmy F. Mooney

Jimmy F. Mooney, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 30, at the Rock of Helps Church, 801 Tremont St, in Weatherford, Texas.

He loved this family and friends unconditionally. He was a generous man who gave with all his heart. He loved his church, fishing, and tinkering in his shop. He was a “fixer” of many things. If a part was missing, that was no problem – he’d fabricate one.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Todd Riedy of Weatherford; his daughters, Sherry and husband, Dirk Duncan, and Tammy and husband, Mark Brown, both of Weatherford; his grandchildren, Bryce and Bryne Riedy, Taylor and Ethan Duncan, and Jason, Jennifer, and Jordan Joplin; and by his great-grandchildren, Lukas and Charlotte Joplin; and by his sister, Nancy Morgan.
