Jeff Lee Youngblood

December 22, 1956 — August 9, 2015

Jeffrey Lee Youngblood, born December 22, 1956, passed from this life August 9, 2015.  He grew up on a farm in Garner, TX and was a life-long resident of Parker County.
Jeff attended Garner Elementary and Millsap High School.  Jeff loved fast horses and bull riding.  He had a brief stint himself but watched it every time he caught it on TV.  His fast horse was named Cougar that he would saddle then lope him all the way from Garner to Millsap, ride with the French boys the rest of the day, then lope old Cougar home to Garner.  When he and his mother sold the farm and moved to Weatherford, he mowed the yard and walked to Quickee Convenience Store or Braum’s everyday bringing a “surprise” home for his Mama.  The neighbors on South Elm could set their clock by his walking past their house and waving.
After his Mother’s passing, Jeff moved to Millsap where he enjoyed helping feed horses and sweeping his porch as well as the barn there.
Jeff married Karen Elizabeth Ellis and together they had one son, Asa Lee Youngblood.
Jeff was preceded in death by Karen Elizabeth Ellis, Asa Lee Youngblood as well as his parents, Eldred and Daurtha Youngblood.
Jeff is survived by two beautiful granddaughters, Masa and Jacee Youngblood, his sister Annie Hobbs, sister, Vicki (Arlie) and brother, Ronald Youngblood (Pamela), as well as many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all of us.  Jeff will never hurt again.  We so hope he is rejoicing with those who have gone on before us.  Goodbye Jeff, we love you.
