Jean McKee

Jean McKee, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, November 4, 2022. She was born October 23, 1932, in Montague, Texas. Jean was a devoted homemaker to her husband and three children. She was a proud member of Corina Drive Baptist Church in White Settlement, Texas, and her love for Christ led her to teach Sunday School for 22 years. She was a devout Christian and passionate about spreading the word of God.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Marvin McKee, Jr.; daughter, Linda King Thornton; grandchildren, Chris McKee and Misty Dawn McKee; and her siblings, Velma White, Olen Cox, and Dee Cox.

Jean is survived by her sons, Russell McKee and wife, Kathy, and Randy McKee and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Austin McKee, Josh McKee, Nicole King Easom, and Tanner Thornton; great grandson, Knox Easom; step-grandchildren, Rhonda Young, Terry Fowler, Angela Nielsen, Stephanie Willey, and Dustin Hurt.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas, with interment to follow in Long Creek Cemetery, in Hood County.
