Javier Gonzalez

Javier Gonzalez, 44, beloved husband and father, passed from this mortal life on Saturday evening, October 2, 2021, in Weatherford.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8, on Thursday evening, October 7, 2021, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home, 913 N. Elm St. in Weatherford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M., on Friday, October 8, 2021, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road in Weatherford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap.

Javier was born on December 22, 1976, in Mexico to Leopoldo Gonzalez and Ma. Rosa Ramirez-Godinez. He married Elizabeth Gonzalez and together had three sons, Carlos, Christopher, and Cesar. He was long-time member of the Millsap Community. Javier had a passion for animals and worked for many years as a Veterinary Technician at the Millsap Veterinary Clinic. Javier was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Weatherford. He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and camping. Javier particularly enjoyed traveling to watch his sons' football games. Most of all, Javier will be remembered for being a dedicated and devoted husband and father.

Javier is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; by his sons, Carlos Javier, Christopher Conrado, and Cesar Noel Gonzalez; and by his father, Leopoldo Gonzalez.

Javier was preceded in death by his mother, Ma. Rosa Ramirez-Godinez and by his brother, Senen L. Gonzalez.
