Jason L. Buechler, 30, of Weatherford, TX, died on November 22, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. Jason had been bravely battling cancer since 2012. He was born in San Luis Obispo, CA, on August 8, 1985. Jason attended school in Granbury and Weatherford. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 2004 and majored in computer science at Weatherford College. After college, he worked as an auto mechanic and machinist. Everyone that knew him will remember his wry sense of humor and willingness to help his friends. Jason is survived by his daughter Kira St. Jacques and her mother Aimee St. Jacques; his mother, Lisa Coody and step-father Sam Coody of Weatherford, father Jeff Buechler of New Hampshire; brothers Evan Clanin of Atascadero, CA and Ethan Coody of Weatherford; maternal grandparents Jim and Karen Clanin of Atascadero, CA; aunts and uncles Jim Clanin, Robyn and Dale Burgess, cousins Adam Burgess, Kerri Burgess, and Ryan Burgess all of Atascadero, CA, and aunt Dawn Churchill of Medford, OR. He is also survived by his girlfriend Shelby Byrd of Weatherford and lifelong friend Raymond Menchaca of Granbury.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Weatherford for their unfailing support during his illness.
