Jason Anthony Mele

Jason Anthony Mele, 49, of Springtown, TX, was welcomed into his Eternal Home on Sunday, October 3, 2021, in Weatherford, TX. Jason was born on December 2, 1971, to Joseph Angelo Mele and Diana Jean (Hudson) Mele in San Antonio, TX.

Jason was of the Christian faith and fiercely loyal to his family. He was a collector of antiques, cars, trains, windmills, road signs from Route 66, and all things “old”. He was passionate about history and believed everything had historical value. Being an aficionado of cigars, he enjoyed his bonding time with his younger brother Gavin during their weekly "cigar night". He also loved and greatly enjoyed spending time with his special four-legged best friend, Brady.

Left to cherish Jason's memory are his loving wife, Joni (Delk) Mele of Springtown, TX; children, Brooke Mele (Mitchell) of Arlington, TX; Kaitlin, Hailey, and Stetson Wilmeth of Springtown, TX; parents, Joseph Angelo and Diana Jean Mele of Quitman, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Karen (Doug) Renfro of Weatherford, TX; brother, Gavin Mele of Weatherford, TX; brother and sister-in-law, John (Sherl) McCormick of Linwood, KY; granddaughter, Audrey Mele Neville; niece, Natalie Renfro; and godson, Jason McCormick.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main Street, Weatherford, TX 76086 with interment to follow at Holders Chapel Cemetery near Cool, TX.
