Jarrett (JC)  McKinney, 85, of White Settlement, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Holland Lake Nursing Center in Weatherford.  Funeral services and burial will be private.
JC was born November 13, 1930, in Collinsville, Texas, to Frank and Hazel McKinney.  He proudly served his country for 22 years, first as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and later in the USAF.  JC was a Loadmaster on C123’s and C124s in Vietnam.  He retired as a Senior Master Sargent and worked as a postal carrier in White Settlement, Texas.   He enjoyed camping, gardening, hunting and fishing.  He was an avid Rangers and Cowboys fan.   
JC is survived by his children, Randal and Lynn McKinney of Weatherford, and Dawn and Bob Loewen of Austin; grandchildren, Jarrett and Logan McKinney and Lucy and Will Loewen; and by his sister, Pat Clark of Lewisville, TX.   
In addition to his parents, JC was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brothers, Joey and Charles McKinney.
