James "Jim" Henry Bowens

James “Jim” Henry Bowens Jr., 45 of Weatherford, died Sunday,   March 1, 2009 as a result of an accident. Jim was born March 29,   1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a field mechanic for W.W.   Weber Company, a firefighter for the Justin Volunteer Fire   Department, he loved hunting and collecting firearms and was always   a character, he never met a stranger.   Jim is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Bowens of Ponder; sons, Duston Bowens and Michael Bowens both of Weatherford; step sons, David Ellison and Jordan Baker of Ponder; mother, Toni Posey of Weatherford;    father, James Bowens Sr. of Missouri City; sisters, Denise Wallace of Weatherford, Debra Jordon of Weatherford and Rebecca Staggs of Coleman; brother, Ted Bowens of Hudson Oaks; numerous other family and friends. 

Funeral service 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2009  in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Interment in the Annetta Cemetery.

Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
