Jack Finley, 85, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday April 17, 2008 at his residence. Born April 8, 1923 in Paris, Texas, he was a long time resident of Parker County. Jack was retired with 20 years of service to Texas Education Agency and an avid golfer. Jack was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving in the Mediterranean Theatre. He was a member of South Main Church of Christ. He loved working for the church, going on many mission trips in all fifty states including Alaska, Canada and several other foreign countries. Jack’s main occupation was to serve the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jill Finley of Weatherford; daughter, Robbin Owen and husband Rod of Weatherford; son, Fred Finley and wife Carolyn of McKinney; grandchildren, Shane Platt and wife Lori and their children Grace, Frank, Fallon and Audra of Weatherford; Steven Finley and wife Aleisha and their son Luke of McKinney and Holly Salsman and husband Randy of Denton. 

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday April 21, 2008 in South Main Church of Christ with Minister Murphy Phillips officiating.

Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation: 6:30-7:30 PM Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
