Jack Allen Porterfield

Jack Allen Porterfield, age 78, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Weatherford, Texas.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2013.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10 AM at Tin Top Cemetery with Pastor Ray Loftis officiating.
Jack was born December 23, 1934 to Walter and Bertha Nutter Porterfield in Covington, Virginia.  He resided in Weatherford since 1971 and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. 
Jack is preceded in death by his wife, May Bell in October 1998; a little Baby Boy Porterfield; parents.
He is survived by his son, Jack Allen Porterfield, Jr.; sisters, Deloris Hamilton Edwards of Bigelow, Arkansas, Joann Turner of Fort Worth, Sue Rushing of Fort Worth and Martha Smith of Fort Worth; brother, David Porterfield and wife, Joyce of Pampa, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
