Hearshel Lee Lambert

Hearshel Lee Lambert, age 85, a lifetime resident of Parker County passed away, in his home surrounded by his family, Sunday morning, April 17, 2016. Hearshel was born on May 30, 1930 to Marshall and Lois (Gilliland) Lambert. Hearshel married his sweetheart, Clydene Hilley, on June 9, 1951. They would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in June. Hearshel was a true cowboy managing both Bear Creek and Walsh ranches over a span of 32 years. If ever a neighbor called needing help mending a fence or delivering a calf, he was always willing to lend a hand. He also worked as a licensed security guard for Horseshoe Bend lot owners association for 10 years. He was a family man who loved Christ. With 9 great grandchildren he always took the opportunity to share a tall tale, hunting story and a Dr. Pepper, even with the babies! Not only was he a cowboy, he was an avid hunter and outdoorsman that shared many hunting trips with his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by his loving wife, Clydene of 64 years; three daughters: Deborah Hilgart and husband Wayne of Weatherford; Helen Cronkite of Weatherford and Ava Phillips and husband Jim of Weatherford. 5 grandchildren: Tonya Williams and husband Kevin of Weatherford, William Hicks and wife Lee Ann of Weatherford, Crystal Prince and husband Dan of Sunset, Audra Crow and husband Cody of Dallas and Lucas Phillips of Weatherford. 9 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Payton and Dylan Ranspot; Emily, Kaylee, Royce and Jace Hicks and Trinity and Trenton Prince. Sister Mary Jo Lyon of Aledo and family; In-laws: Emily Lambert of Fort Worth and family, Charlene Lambert of Weatherford and family, Betty Puckett of Lyttle and family, Wayne and Kay Mauldin of Bandera and family, family of the late Georgia Johnson of Garland and Larry and Brenda Mauldin and family of Virgina. And many more beloved family and friends.
Hearshel was proceeded in death by: his mother and father; infant twin brother, Marshall Lambert; infant sister, Ivy Lambert; brothers: Bill and Bob Lambert; sister, Yvonne Tullis; and many special life long friends.
Pallbearers: Hunter Ranspot, Lucas Phillips, Dylan Ranspot, Darrell Lyon, Tommy Lyon, Candelario Hernandez, Ross Light, Kenny Smith.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Alton Wright, Carl Green and Bart Salter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21 6-8pm at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel Weatherford.
Funeral will be Friday, April 22 at 2pm held at South Main Church of Christ, Weatherford Texas with burial at Brown cemetery in Aledo.
