Harold Ogle

Harold “Pops” Ogle, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away following a short illness Tuesday evening, May 12, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 P.M., on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.

Harold was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to John and Alma Ogle. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. On August 18, 1982, Harold married Jo Perry. He enjoyed outdoor activities including ‘porch sittin’, fishing and playing golf. Harold was known to be a ‘Master Craftsman’ and was the long-time owner of the Used Furniture Warehouse in Weatherford. Harold cherished time spent with his family.

Harold is survived by his wife, Jo; his children, Stacy Jagger, Yvonne Gill, Suzette Sullivan, Renee and husband Carl Mariner, David Ogle, Dena and wife Lyn Perry-Scully, and Kayla and husband Kenneth Wallace; by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and by his sister, JoAnn Ogle; and by his brothers, Charles and wife Carol Ogle and John Ogle, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Barrett Smith; and by his brothers, James and Kenneth Ogle.
